I changed the caption buttons at the last minute from bright to very dark metal (also added that little animation effect when they're pressed...:-) ) and was kind of stuck on the start menu so I just flooded the "stuck" areas with magic pinky. Guess you can't go wrong with transparency, huh, my friend? :-)
